                 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF
                 AMENDMENT NO. 6 TO THE AGREEMENT WITH PIEDMONT
                 OLSEN HENSLEY, RELATIVE TO CONTRACT NO. 73B-1,
                 BIG RIDGE COLLECTION SEWERS III, FOR AN
                 INCREASE OF SIXTEEN THOUSAND, FIVE HUNDRED
                 DOLLARS ($16,500.00) FOR THE CONSTRUCTION PHASE
                 SERVICES AND AN INCREASE OF SIXTY-THREE
                 THOUSAND DOLLARS ($63,000.00) FOR THE RESIDENT
                 PROJECT REPRESENTATION, FOR A REVISED TOTAL
                 AGREEMENT COST OF TWO HUNDRED EIGHTY-TWO
                 THOUSAND, FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($282,500.00).
                
                
                                                    
                
                
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That there be and is hereby authorized 
the
       execution of Amendment No. 6 to the Agreement with Piedmont Olsen 

       Hensley, relative to Contract No. 73B-1, Big Ridge Collection
       Sewers III, to increase the amount for construction phase 
services
       from $35,000.00 to $51,500.00, and to increase the resident
       project representation from $135,000.00 to $198,000.00 for a
       revised total agreement cost of $282,500.00.
